Zapier: Automate your Operations with Zapier AI App

In the world of automation, Zapier has launched two new AI features that will transform the way we interact with software and technology. These innovations allow users to optimize their workflow without prior programming knowledge. You can also use it to automate processes within your company. If you want to learn more about this app, I invite you to continue reading. Let’s get started!

What is Zapier?

Zapier is an online tool that allows you to integrate with other tools to connect activities and set up workflows and automation. Additionally, it works with Zaps which is an automated workflow consisting of a trigger and one or more actions. It’s a great tool for integrating automation into third-party apps to take your inbound marketing and more to the next level.

It can also be used to automate processes throughout the company. The following actions are triggered from the initial action or trigger you set up in Zapier. That way, you can take a series of actions based on well-researched workflows and relevant marketing objectives.

How does Zapier work?

Zapier is a program for people who want to add web tools without programming knowledge. At Rock Content, we use Zapier for a variety of processes and call it our “messenger” marketing tool. If you need to transfer data from one place to another, this may be the most practical solution! In this article, I’ll explain Zapier in more detail and show you some situations where you can use it.

How do I connect Zapier to other tools?

To add a tool to Zapier.com, you must have access and permissions to the original tool (the type of permission will vary by tool, but typically you will need to be an administrator). Once you’ve successfully connected your tools, you can work directly with Zapier to define triggers and develop workflows.

Next, you need to configure the steps that will be executed after the trigger fires. You can do as many steps as you want, one at a time. You can also create clauses and conditions to configure different routes and actions based on specific data. In this step, you must add tools to perform each task.

Examples of using Zapier in lead management

In Zapier, integrations between two or more tools are called Zaps. You can create combinations between different tools, but to show you how to use Zapier in your digital marketing strategy, I have isolated one of the most practical and useful Zaps from Rock Content.

In this step, you can create a lead generation offer consisting of a survey in Typeform and immediately send those leads to a marketing automation tool like RD Station.

Step 1: Create a test in Typeform

To do this, you will need to create an account to log in or sign in to Typeform. Once there, take the survey as usual. Once the proposal is ready, we move on to the second step.

Step 2: Create a Zap starting with Typeform

Use Zapier to send information collected from Typeform to RD Station. To do this, first go to the website and click on the orange button to create a new Zap. The first step for Zap is to enable Typeform. To do this, type “Typeform” in the app search and select Typeform.

Step 3: Set up the Typeform integration

Choose Typeform as your Zap input app and Zapier will guide you through some setup steps. The first is to choose a time to capture the Zap. For Typeform, there is only one option: New Post. This means that every time someone completes a survey in Typeform, this Zap will be triggered. Then you will need to add your Typeform account.

Once your account is connected to Zapier, you will be directed to the Edit Settings step where you will select the type you want to use for this Zap. The form will automatically appear in the drop-down list. Finally, it’s time to test the connection with Typeform. Click the “Check this step” button to verify that everything is fine with Zapier.

Step 4: Move your leads to RD Station

After creating your Zap, click the ”+” button to add a new activity. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be asked to select an app to use for this new activity. In this case, select RD Station. Now we need to configure the connection to the RD station, similar to what we did earlier with Typeform.

Thanks to the integration of Zapier with RD Station, you will be able to perform three types of tasks: create yourself a leader, lose deal or won lead. In this case, we want to create a new lead in the RD Station database, so select the Create Lead option. Then you will need to add your RD Station account. Once you have done this, select the information collected in Typeform that you want to provide an RD Station in Model Edit.

Step 5: Choose what information to provide to RD Station

Your email information and conversion ID are necessary so RD Station can identify what you are trying to transmit. If you want to receive emails from people who responded to your survey in Typeform, you must first enter this question in the survey. If you have already done so, you can click the icon next to the Edit Template Email field.

Typeform displays a list of all test questions. Here, select the question you used in Typeform to request customer emails. The next required field, the Transformation field, asks you to enter the name of the transformation that you want to register in the RD station. Therefore, RD Station allows you to target potential customers who have converted on this offer.

Benefits of using Zapier for your business

If you’re still wondering why you should use this tool, with all the features I mentioned about connectivity, data visualization, and workflow automation in one tool, here are some benefits to consider.

Integrate with just a few clicks

More than 2,000 applications of all types can be intuitively integrated without programming knowledge.

It’s easy to use

You might think that some of the automations you need to perform can be done on the native platform, but it is possible because Zapier, which has become one of the most used automation tools, already includes integrations between many tools out of the box. It’s very convenient, simple, and requires no programming (although you can do it!).

Fast rendering speed

Zapier allows you to easily share information between apps and receive notifications, resulting in faster response times. For example, whenever someone posts a comment on Google, a comment moderator can respond immediately.

More efficient automation

You will be able to achieve your business and marketing goals more efficiently because you can forget about the most repetitive tasks between different tools and focus on what is most important. This will save you a lot of time!
